The Chemical Brothers - Swoon

The Chemical Brothers - Swoon

(album name: Further)

The Chemical Brothers (Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons) new released album ‘Further’ has recently been released featuring a track called ‘Swoon’ and as history has proved (their last five albums hit number 1) this is an incredible track too. THe melody, the vocals, the rhythm - they all work seamlessly and perfectly. It has already been featured in podcasts, radios shows, live events (the chemical brothers are on the album tour now), and there are even a few remixes out. this is a great track to check out and add straight to your ipod, my guess would be that ‘Swoon’ will be played over and over for years to come.

as for the album, “Swoon has one of the album's few discernible choruses and features a rare vocal outing from Rowlands. “Just remember to fall in love/There's nothing else, there's nothing else,” he croons over elastic synth riffs and rubbery bass” (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/music/article-23844096-cds-of-the-week-the-chemical-brothers-and-robyn.do). this track definatly make the rest of the album sound better and raise the chemical brothers to that number 1 spot...

Enjoy

Sharam mixes FIFA’s Official World Cup song ‘Waka Waka’ by Shakira

June 11 – Dance music icon Sharam has remixed Shakira’s Official FIFA World Cup song, ‘Waka Waka‘. The Grammy-winning DJ has applied his unique touch to Shakira’s original, transforming it into a dance floor anthem worthy of a World Cup winner, complete with his signature sound and African-style drums.

Shakira said, “Sharam has brought a unique spin to his interpretation of “Waka Waka”.  He has brought the song to the dancefloor. This is one of those artistic collaborations that makes perfect sense.”
The FIFA World Cup is easily the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, exceeding the Olympics which put the “Waka Waka” remixes on a world stage.  The song is already in the hands of the world’s top DJs and will be released later this month.
Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a sports buff and the FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world. To work on the official song is a landmark achievement for me, something I’ve dreamt about doing since making music became a part of my life. I have always admired Shakira’s unique twist on pop music and when she asked me to remix Waka Waka, I didn’t hesitate,” says Sharam.

Chris Lawyer & Thomy - We Gonna Feel It (radio edit)

this is a GREAT song... I could listen to this all day long! very calm, relaxing, and just makes you feel happy! Its like the song is telling a story...
A lot of people think that Deep Dish has made, produced, or remixed this song - but according to their discography you cannot find any info on them doing anything to the song (however they may have played this track somewhere live and mixed it there but nothing more, according to my research)...

Well enjoy and buy this and add it to your ipod

This is Sander Kleinenberg 2

if you don't know what this is then you don't deserve it!

THis is a great new CD releases by the man himslef, Sander Kleinenberg.

(He is a) Pioneering International DJ, producer and label boss Sander Kleinenberg releases his impressive new mix compilation called ‘This Is Sander Kleinenberg 2’ on Ultra Records this September 9, 2009. This compilation truly displays how versatile Sander can be, drawing on a vast array of styles and using them in an innovative way to create his unparalleled sound. Each disc offers something slightly different and follows on brilliantly from his hugely popular first compilation in the series.

The first disc, ‘Left’, kicks things off with a laid back atmospheric slice of electronic bliss called ‘Summer Rain’ from Bpitch control’s starlet Sascha Funke. From there the mix builds effortlessly blending a fine selection of different House styles. Hotly tipped Hamburg producer Martin Stimming being well represented on this comp with two brilliant tracks, starting with “Silver surfer”, followed by a co-production with Mladen Solomun, called “Feuervogel”. Berlin producer David Keno “Replika” track is also signed to Sander’s own Little Mountain Recordings. As far as the origin of tracks is concerned we’re staying in Germany for a while. H.O.S.H. was responsible for a great “Downstairs” remix, originally produced by Lucy. Great Stuff label boss Rainer Weichhold is responsible for twisting Rockers Hi-Fi’s “Push push“ and the previously unreleased Sultan and Ned Shepard remix of ‘Asteroidz’ by DBN featuring Matida. This disc has a very sexy, uplifting and funky feel to it which just leaves you wanting more.

The second disc, ‘Right’, shows Sander’s rougher and tougher side. It commences with a spoken word vocal sample, "Little boy...Little girl...evil dope" looping over the beginning to Kleinenberg's latest dance floor homage and his first single in three years entitled, "This Is Our Night". The noteworthy single features Sander's signature synth bounce and vocal and has been charted in the top 10 on Beatport's Electro House & Progressive charts, as well as #1 on DMC's Buzz Chart. Following suit is Rene Amesz’s previously unreleased Electro/Tribal track ‘Ridicule’. The mix develops with some driving tech-house including Luetzenkirchen’s ‘Foxy’ and DJ Ortzy’s exclusive Dirty Flavor compilation remix of ‘Massive’. Sander powers the mix home with Dabruck & Klein’s dominant peak time electro remix of Joachim Garraud’s ‘The answer’ and concludes with Mason’s brilliant chilled Refurb mix of ‘Kippschwinger’.

On the horizon, keep an ear out for Sander’s debut artist album due in early 2010. The album contains a plethora of amazing new productions, which he has worked on with U.S. heavyweight Josh Gabriel. The first single from the album will be Sander’s remarkable new tune “This Is Our Night” which has already gained support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong.
